Licensed Clinical Psychologist

When we meet, it is prominent in my mind that coming to an appointment with a psychologist can be daunting. Whether you are having difficulty with many worries, finding it hard to take pleasure in activities, having trouble asserting yourself in relationships, or worried about your child's behavior or learning, you may be wondering how therapy or assessment could possibly be helpful.

In our work together, you are the experts on your experience. I use genuine curiosity and empathy to gain a true understanding of what is going on. Together, we can discuss how my experience and training can assist you. Psychological services cannot be "one size fits all," and I encourage you to be open in sessions about what is working (and perhaps more importantly, what is not!).

About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, using evidenced-supported treatments, particularly cognitive-behavioral techniques. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College, and my Psy.D. from La Salle University. Throughout my clinical training, I have worked with individuals in diverse settings, including community mental health centers, preparatory schools, residential programs, partial hospital programs, juvenile

detention centers, college counseling centers, and in private practice. I have specialized experience in working with families with children exhibiting behavioral problems, and clients of all ages with depression, anxiety, and adjustment concerns.

My research has focused on pilot programs of psychoeducational and support groups in low-income schools as well as investigating the lived experience of children and families affected by chronic illness.
